Services & Charges...
- On each account submitted to CBF, you agree to pay collection charges upon amounts collected by you or by us, according to the rates set forth.
- On each account placed, CBF is authorized to make the collection. We shall have the right to endorse for deposit and collection, in your name and in your behalf, remittances received on accounts.
- On each individual account an experienced collector will immediately contact the debtor. Contingent rates are as follows: 25% on the first $5,000, 20% on the next $10,000, 15% on the excess of $15,000. Minimum charges $150 on collections of $300 to $600, and 50% on collections less than $300.
- CBF will act as your forwarding agent on accounts placed with attorneys. Our fee (CBF) is 10% of collections made in attorney service. If you do not designate an attorney, CBF may transmit same for collection or adjustment to any attorney. The attorney is to act in his professional capacity upon being retained on behalf of your company. CBF is not responsible for any loss caused by acts of omissions on the part of any attorney or others. On Accounts forwarded to attorneys in your behalf, customary charges by attorneys contingent on collection, except where bar rates apply, are as follows:

These Rates Apply to Commercial Accounts Only...
- Accounts withdrawn or settled directly are subject to charges based on status of the account at the time and prevailing service in effect. In most circumstances, the charge for returned merchandise will be based on one-half the original claim. Installment payments require additional expense and work and therefore will require increased rates not in excess of 50%.
- These rates apply to accounts that are less than one year old and in business at the time of placement. Accounts that are over one year old are subject to rates of 33 1/3%. Accounts that are no longer in business are subject to increased rates not to exceed 50%.
- Foreign accounts and collections are subject to an assortment of laws and regulations that vary from one country to the next... Our Fee for collections made directly by CBF is 33 1/3%.
- If it is necessary to obtain foreign counsel, we will advice you of the fee schedule for that account. CBF will incur no expense without your authorization.
